Abstract

On March 26, 2018, Quanyun H. took the AM90 flight from Monterrey, Mexico, and transferred to OZ363 via Seoul, South Korea. He arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 13:00 on the 28th of same month. When he entered the country, he chose to go through the green customs and did not declare anything to the customs. When the customs officer of Shanghai Pudong International Airport checked the luggage carried by him through the X-ray machine, he found suspicious items in it and opened the box for inspection. After investigation, the customs officers seized 110 pieces of swim bladders in a suitcase carried by him. Quanyun H. confessed to having smuggled endangered wildlife products.
