On June 3, 2017, Li 1, Li 2, Guan, Liu, Chen 1 brought 59.40 kilograms of ivory from Macau, and then Li 2 handed the ivory to the defendant Liefu L. in Zhuhai City and received RMB 51300 yuan. On June 7, 2017, Li 1, Li 2, Guan, Liu, Chen 1 brought a batch of ivory from Macau again. That night Guan was captured and 4 bags of ivory were seized on the spot. Then the investigative organs successively arrested Li 2, Liu, Chen 1, Liefu L., Li 1 and seized Liefu carrying 116,400 yuan in cash with him. From 2014 to 2015, the defendant Liefu illegally purchased Hippo tooth from a certain Zhuhai Craft Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and hired Yang (handled separately) to process them into spacers, bead chains and other crafts. From March 2016, Liefu hired the Luo 1 (handled separately) to sell Hippo tooth scraps and handicrafts. On June 8, 2017, the investigating agency seized 181 kg of Hippo tooth at Liefu's residence.
