Abstract

At 18:00 on December 5, 2013, according to the report, the public security organ arrested the defendant Shu X., who was suspected of selling ivory products, at C1022, Hualin International, Kangwang Road, Liwan District, Guangzhou, and seized 195 ivory products on the spot. Among them, 158 ivory products belonging to the defendant Shu X., with a net weight of 5.293 kg and a value of RMB 220543.4 yuan. Shu X. confessed to have sold ivory products ( Asian elephant, under Appendix I of CITES; African elephant (Loxodonta africana), under Appendix I and II of CITES).
