In mid-to-late July 2015, Suonanouzhu and his family grazed and lived in the temporary shelter of the grazing site in the summer pasture area. Due to multiple incidents of missing and bitten sheep, Suonanouzhu borrowed an iron clip and placed it near the temporary residence. A few days later, Suonanouzhu found that a snow leopard was caught, and immediately stoned the snow leopard to death. On January 24, 2017, when the police of the Ali Forest Public Security Bureau received the local people's report that the the villager Suonanouzhu hunted the snow leopard a few years ago, and then he was captured near his sheepfold in the residence the next day. After interrogation, Suonanouzhu confessed to having hunted the snow leopard, and voluntarily handed in one skin and one skeleton of snow leopard. Suonanouzhu confessed to having illegally hunted threatened and endangered wildlife species.
