Abstract
Since 2017, Chengjian Z. and Bin W. had purchased ivory products online. In 2019, Chengjian Z. funded Bin W. to buy two ivory from the Internet. Later, Chengjian Z. wanted to sell the ivory, and Bin W. helped contact the buyer. On May 24, 2019, they were caught by public security personnel while trading ivory in the Queen's Cafe in the courtyard of Angang Automobile Transportation Company in Tiedong District, Anshan City. A total of 2 ivory and 1,388g ivory products, valued at 557,833.80 yuan, were found. The defendants Chengjian Z. and Bin W. confessed to having illegally purchased and sold endangered wildlife products.
