Abstract

The defendants Chengmin S. and Xiandi Z. illegally set up a power grid and placed iron clips to hunt wild animals on the Dalingsi Mountain Field of the Longyuan Village, Meishan Township, and successfully hunted a pheasant the next day. Xiandi Z. took the pheasant to his residence for consumption. After identification, the pheasant is a national key protected wildlife. On October 18, 2017, the police caught Xiandi Z. who was using the power grid to hunt wild animals. on April 19, 2018, Chengmin S.g took the initiative to Police Station, and confess to commit the crime. Chengmin S. and Xiandi Z. confessed to having illegally hunted and killed threatened and endangered wildlife species.
