Abstract

From January 15 to 17, 2015, the defendant Wu Dinghui used the method of pulling nets in the woods before playing music to attract birds, and illegally hunted 8 scops owls in Nanshan Village, Yuqian Town, Lin'an City. On January 17, 2015, when the public security organ inspected the hotel where the defendant Wu Dinghui stayed, the defendant Wu Dinghui threw the above eight scops owls from the window of his room because of fear of being investigated. 2 of the scops owls were recovered and released into the wild, and the remaining 6 were dead. Dinghui W. confessed to having illegally caught or killed precious and endangered species of wildlife.
