At 17 o'clock on January 7, 2016, Huiming Y. and his friend Limou drove a blue car to Dutou, Dahu Town, Haifeng County. Huiming Y. used a shotgun-shaped item and a bird attractor at the pond, water channel, and beach (within the scope of Guangdong Haifeng Bird Provincial Nature Reserve) for hunting, and a total of 8 wild seabirds were hunted. At about 19:00 on the same day, the villager Shi discovered that Huiming Y. used gun-shaped objects and persuaded him to surrender to the public security organ. Huiming Y. asked Shi to call the police. After receiving the alarm, the public security organ arrested Huiming Y. at the farm of Shi at 20 o'clock, and seized 1 gun-shaped object, 86 suspected shotgun bullets, and 3 small packets of lead bullets (a total of 543 rounds), 1 bird attractor and 8 dead wild seabirds.
