Abstract

Since 2013, the defendants Jingping L. and Ruihong X. have bred and raised endangered wild animal parrots at Letong Village, Xinhua Street, Huadu District, Guangzhou City, and contacted buyers to sell the parrots by QQ, WeChat, etc. On August 14, 2016, Jingping L. contacted Wu through WeChat, sold two cockatoo parrots to Wu at a price of 900 yuan, and collected 900 yuan through WeChat transfer. Later, Jingping L. contacted Ruihong X. and she mail the above two cockatoo parrots to Wu. On August 16, 2016, the police inspected the defendants' place. A total of 213 parrots were found on the scene, all of which were live. And the Ruihong X. was arrested on the spot. On August 18, 2016, after being summoned by the bureau, Jingping L. went to the Forestry Bureau of Guangzhou Public Security Bureau on his own.
