Abstract

From September 20 to November 30, 2016, the defendants Qinggui Y., Guangyu H., Changchun L. and Nuer Maimaiti carried battery, transformer (boost), iron wire and wooden pile and other hunting tools, and hunted together in several villages. A total of 59 wild animals were caught (including 4 suspected foxes, 1 suspected owl, and 54 suspected hares). On November 26, 2016, Changchun L., Qinggui Y. and Nuer Maimaiti joined together only once and captured 3 suspected hares. Qinggui Y., Guangyu H., Changchun L. and Nuer Maimaiti confessed to having illegally hunted threatened and endangered wildlife species.
