Abstract
On September 20, 2019, Shenggui L., Yuanmei Q and Yingjun Z. used electric fishing method to catch 500 kilograms of wild fish in the waters near the Potou Ferry in Hunan’s West Dongting Lake National Nature Reserve. On September 21, 2019, they again used electric fishing method to catch 300 kilograms of wild fish in the waters near the Potou Ferry in Hunan’s West Dongting Lake National Nature Reserve. Shenggui L. and Yingjun Z. confessed their criminal facts truthfully; Yuanmei Q voluntarily surrendered and truthfully confessed her criminal facts. Shenggui L., Yuanmei Q and Yingjun Z. confessed to having caught aquatic products in forbidden areas or forbidden periods or use tools and methods in violation of regulations.
