Abstract
From April 8 to April 28, 2019 (prohibition period), the defendants Yiheng W., Peiwu W. used acoustic-like electronic bird traps, wire mesh, battery and other tools to catch birds in the mountain field (prohibition area) near Gaojian Village, Shouyan Town, Dao County for several times, a total of 1892 wild birds were captured. At 11:00 on April 28, 2019, Yiheng W., Peiwu W. were caught on the spot by the police of the Daoxian Forest Public Security Bureau while catching birds. Yiheng W., Peiwu W. confessed to having illegally hunted wild birds during closed season.
