Zhiyong W., Zhiping W., together with Xinwei Z., went to Maoming City, Guangdong Province to purchase in batches of 2917.29 kg ivory smuggled from Africa from smugglers Kangwen W. and Haiqiang O. Zhiyong W., Zhiping W., Shiming L. and others shipped the aforementioned 2304.84 kg of ivory and 2917.29 kg of ivory back to Xianyou County of Fujian Province in two parts. All ivory was finally purchased by Shiming L. and others, and Shiming L. processed and sold ivory separately. Zhiyong W., Zhiping W., Shiming L. confessed to having smuggled ivory; Deyu L., Xinwei Z. confessed to having illegally purchased and sold of ivory; Jianxin L. confessed to having concealed the proceeds of crime.
