Abstract

On 17 November 2017, during a surveillance and anti-poaching mission, Eyana Jean, coordinator of USLAB MOKABI, accompanied by Dongo Sylvestre, forest assistant, arrested two men named Gbobe Barthelemy and Gbanzio Ambroise in the UFA, a protected area in the town of Mokabi. During the search, they found a chimpanzee in their bag that had already been shot.
