Abstract

On 19 October 2018, the Mokabi Anti-Poaching and Surveillance Unit, during its traditional surveillance operations, surprised a group of Central African individuals in the middle of the forest. During the operation, they managed to arrest Mbekounda Achille and Mamadou Amidou, who were in possession of several baskets of smoked meat. The meat came from fully and partially protected species, including a panther and duiker.
