In December 2017, the conservation and biodiversity service of the Nouabélé Ndoki National Park received information on the slaughter of elephants. The service set out in pursuit of the suspects and proceeded to arrest them.

The Public Prosecutor’s confirmed the deposit warrant established against them on 2017/02/28. The accused were sentenced to pay the costs. The imprisonment in default was fixed to 2 months for the recovery of court fees and fines.
