Abstract

During the year 2011, Ngbado Maturin and Naloko Marcel in possession of a war weapon type PMK started a big hunting expedition in the Tala Tala forest during which they killed one elephant and removed the two ivory tusks. On their way back they came across a ranger patrol and were arrested and brought before the state prosecutor. They were then charged for killing of a totally protected animal and hunting with a war weapon.
