Nzindo Jean is a Central African individual resident in Ouesso. During January 2017, he went to the village Ignole for small hunting. During his stay in this village, he noticed the presence of elephants in the area where he was doing small hunting. Back in Ouesso he met his friend Dongui Alex who promised to accompany him in the area where he could carry out big hunting. After having put together all the conditions, both henchmen went to the forest at Ignole village to carry out big hunting. They killed one elephant there and Nzindo Jean played the role of carrier. After having removed the tusks, they sold it at XAF 700,000 (seven hundred thousand) and shared the money. On his return to Ouesso, Nzindo Jean was arrested by rangers in possession of a war weapon (type PMAK) and ammunition while Dongui Alex was already in prison. Brought before the state prosecutor, Nzindo Jean was charged of illegal possession of war weapon and ammunition, complicity of killing a totally protected specie (elephant)
