Abstract
In May 2018, Ndegue Stephane and Gozock Rochi went to the forest to set their traps. After two days in the forest they came across the skeleton of an elephant including two ivory tusks. The next day both decided to come back to the village to look for a buyer. Ndegue Stephane then went to Souanke to meet with a Cameroonian named Amadou also known as Chinois to sell the ivory tusks at XAF 120,000 (one hundred and twenty thousand). Its in these conditions that Ndegue Stephane was arrested and brought before the state prosecutor.
