Abstract
Kardoupa Francis is a gendarmerie assistant at the Sembe territorial brigade. In 2015, he is informed that one known as pastor Beza was in possession of a war weapon type PMK. The information was given to him by Efoute Guendolo the pastor’s collaborator who told him not to inform the Brigade commander of Sembe in fear of retaliation by the pastor. Efoute convinced the pastor to give him the weapon and then gave it to Kardoupa Francis who also asked the sum of XAF 50,000 (fifty thousand) to give to the brigade commander to clear the file. Pastor Beza gave the money plus one small goat through Efoute. Informed of the situation, the police of Sembe arrested Kardoupa Francis and brought him before the state prosecutor.

Penalty
Kardoupa Francis was sentenced to twelve months imprisonment and to pay fines of XAF 50,000 (fifty thousand) each and to pay court fees. The execution of the imprisonment term was suspended. Imprisonment in default of payment was fixed to its minimum. No damage because the State of Congo did not file a civil claim.
