Abstract
In May 2019, MOMBE Sinel was contacted by DIMETE Sosthene, who had a war weapon for an elephant hunt. MOMBE joined DIMETE to poach but failed to kill two elephants with his war weapon, which then ran away. Having killed nothing, both decided to return to NDOKI 2 after hiding the weapon in the forest. MOMBE Sinnel was arrested by a military patrol. After his arrest and on their way back to the station, they were attacked by poachers, wounding one officer.
