Abstract
In February 2004, MAMBALOU Venance, NDONGA Basile and MPANGO Paul left the village for a hunting trip at a time when hunting was not allowed in the entire national territory. During the hunt, MAMBALOU Venance unintentionally shot NDONGA Basile, who died as a result. During his interrogation, Mambalou explained that he was chasing a herd of bush pigs when he tried to shoot one of them and that he inexplicably and incomprehensibly shot his teammate.
