Abstract
In January 2008, Bossoka Emilie Bertille wanted to have ivory juwelery decided to associate herself to Angouele Brice Igor and Onguiembi-Oyoukath Karl Charden and together they fraudulently subtracted 195 (one hundred and ninety five) ivory tusks to the detriment of the Departmental Directorate of Waters and Forest of Sangha which owned it legitimately. Bach Ousmane Bach was guilty of complicity of the offences of theft committed by Angouele Brice Igor, Onguiembi-Oyoukath Karl Charden. Taïron Abdou-Laye, Belo Sahadu, Angoura Evelyne, Nani Herman knowingly concealed 195 ivory tusks that they knew were coming from the various thefts committed by Bossoka Emilie Bertille, Angouele Brice Igor and Onguiembi-Oyoukath Karl Charden.

Onguiembi-Oyoukath Karl Charden, Bach Ousmane Bach, Belo Sahadu, Angoura Evelyne, and Onguiembi-Oyoukath Karl Charden were sentenced to 24 (twenty four) months firm imprisonment and a fine of XAF 2,000,000 (two million) each; Angouele Brice Igor, Bossoka Emilie Bertille, Taïron Abdou-Laye, Nani Herman were sentenced to 12 (twelve) months firm imprisonment and a fine of XAF 1,000,000 (one million) each; The accused were sentenced to jointly pay the sum of XAF 5,000,000 (five million) for civil damages all causes of prejudices combined; The accused were ordered to pay the costs fixed at the sum of XAF 960,000 (nine hundred sixty thousand) at the rate of XAF 120,000 (one hundred and twenty thousand) each; The duration of the imprisonment in default of payment was set to 15 (fifty) days for the recovery of court fees, 3 (three) months for the recovery of civil damages and 1(one) month for the recovery of fines.
