Abstract

On March 12, 2004 at Kabo, during a period when hunting is prohibited, Mbatidi Jean went to the forest for hunting and without any authorization, killed a gorilla, a fully protected species, with a PMAK type war weapon. Then he voluntarily extracted from the gorilla two fingers of his right hand.
