In August 2018,Mboko Lambert and his uncle decided to leave their camp at Miala to go to the hospital in Ouesso with his sick cousin. While there, Mboko Lambert contacted two named as Andre Henri and Gaston who proposed him an elephant hunting expedition. In November they brought Mboko Lambert to Lioueso taking the river Lengoue to go to the Ntoukou Pikounda national park to do the hunting. At the return of the hunting expedition that was not successful they came across a ranger and police patrol and Mboko Lambert was arrested in possession of one caliber12 rifle and nine bullets and some cartridges while to two accomplices escaped. Mboko Lambert was interrogated by the police and recognized the facts then brought to the state prosecutor.
