Abstract
In September 2017, Sokima Matondo participated in a hunting expedition with two named Riben and Aniossi during which they killed one elephant. In January 2018, Sokima again carried out a hunting expedition this time with Mobembo Gerard alias Kevhano, Lezona and others during they killed eleven elephants. In April 2018, he went again to the forest in Ngombe still with Mobembo Gerard as hunter and Eyaka Marcelle as co-hunter during which they killed one elephant. During the year 2014, Okemba Ruben transported on his bike ivory tusks belonging to Mobembo Gérard and Sakima Matondo that they used to sell to one known as Bachirou who was living at Pokola.

Penalty
Mobembo Gérard and Sakima Matondo were sentenced to five years imprisonment and XAF 5,000,000 (five million) as fines; Mobembo Gérard was condemned to pay XAF 100,000 (one hundred thousand) and Sakima Matondo to pay XAF 5,000,000 (five million) as damages and to pay court fees. The Imprisonment in default of payment was fixed to its minimum.
