Abstract

On June 20, 2015, Okoko Mesmin Armel was going to Makoua on his motorbike from Liouesso where he was working. On his way at a village called Lango he saw a giant pangolin wounded and having difficulties to cross the road. He then decided to kill the animal with hiw machete and put it in his bag. At the Mambili check point, he came across rangers who arrested him and brought him to the state prosecutor.
