Abstract
During the year 2017, Baba-Bouba contacted one known as Assen who was in possession of one war weapon belonging to Oumarou Mana. While they were preparing to go to the forest for big hunting, they were surprised by Oumarou Mana and Baba-Bouba hid the weapon in order to put pressure on Oumarou Mana to reimburse expenditures he undertook before the weapon was given to him. While been advised by many to give back the weapon, he went to the forest where the weapon was hidden to destroy it. It’s in this circumstances that he was arrested by rangers before arresting Oumarou Mana on his turn and both were brought before the state prosecutor.

Penalty
Oumarou Mana was sentenced to one (1) year suspended term imprisonment and to pay fines of XAF 200,000 (two hundred thousand) and to pay court fees. Oumarou Mana and Baba-Bouba were sentenced to pay XAF 300,000 (three hundred thousand) as damages. The imprisonment term was suspended. Imprisonment in default of payment was fixed to its minimum.
