Abstract

In September 2011, Beukou Léonard after having acquired a war weapon organized himself with Nalinzeba Mars and Mawosso Maurice a big hunting expedition. After eleven days they shot but killed an elephant because of lack of ammunition. Still in the forest, they discovered one elephant carcass and removed the ivory tusks. It’s in these conditions that the Police of Pokola arrested them after having searched the house of Beukou Leonard.
