Boyoma Pierre is a Congolese individual living at the village Attention in the Sangha division. In October 2016, Menogam Daniel provided him with one war weapon and ammunition, and local arrows to kill elephants. With this material, Boyoma entered the forest where he killed one elephant, removed the two ivory tusks and gave to Menogam who contacted Dinga Jean Paul to look for a potential buyer. Dinga left the village Attention to Ouesso and informed Kiba Honorine a friend of his spouse. Both went back to the village where the transaction was concluded and Kiba bought the ivory. Rangers later on arrested Kiba Honorine in possession of the ivory tusks and she denounced the entire network. The others were arrested and brought before the state prosecutor and sent to court for trial.
