Abstract
On May 11, 2012, Djoa Paul was in possession of one war weapon type PMK that he was planning to use for big hunting. Been unable to cross the ranger check point with it, he gave it to Mekozi Destin who was to give it back to him after having crossed the checkpoint. Unfortunately for them they were arrested by rangers and brought before the state prosecutor.

Djoa Paul and Mekozi Destin were sentenced to three year imprisonment and to pay fines of XAF 500,000 (five hundred thousand) each and to pay court fees. Imprisonment in default of payment was fixed to its minimum. No damage because the State of Congo did not file a civil claim.
