Abstract
During the year 2019, rangers caught and arrested Ehoulabi Lazard for having killed three elephants and having possessed one war weapon and ammunition at Ibongo village. He was then brought before the state prosecutor who sent him to court for trial.

Ehoulabi Lazard was sentenced to three years imprisonment, XAF 500,000 (five hundred thousand) as fines and XAF 500,000 (five hundred thousand) as damages and to pay court fees; The war weapon should be given back to the military zone No 05 and the ivory to the wildlife administration. The Imprisonment in default of payment was fixed to three months for the recovery of fines, two months for court fees and one month for damages.
