Abstract

Ingoya Jean Bosco, Akondzo Ebba, Ngouabi Gabin, Awone Tuta are resident at Pokola. In July 2017, Ingoya Jean Bosco and Awone Tuta were contacted by one known as Potin to carry out big hunting expedition. They accepted and went to the forest in Ndoki 2 area where they killed one elephant. Back in the village, they were arrested by rangers with two war weapons type PMAK while Potin escaped with ivory tusks. Back in 2015, Akondzo Ebba borrowed XAF 26,000 (twenty-six thousand) to Ingoya before he entered in the forest. Both squabbled because Akondzo wanted to be reimbursed. So when Ingoya was arrested Akondzo was also arrested for providing means to Ingoya. During investigations, rangers in order to dismantle the poaching network found phone conversations between Ingoya and Ngouabi Gabin during the time Ingoya was in the forest. All the four were therefore arrested and brought to the state prosecutor.
