Abstract
In July 2017, Babase Bosco and Kano Brealy met in the forest for a big hunting expedition. While there, they killed one elephant and removed the ivory tusks. On their way back, they were organizing the sale of ivory while Etsieli Joseph was joining them to collect the war weapon and remaining ammunition. It’s in these conditions that they were caught and brought before the state prosecutor.

Babase Bosco was sentenced to five years imprisonment, XAF 1,000,000 (one million) as fines; Etsieli Joseph was sentenced to five years imprisonment, XAF 100,000 (one hundred thousand) as fines; the execution of imprisonment term of Etsieli Joseph was suspended because of health issues; Kano Brealy was sentenced to four years imprisonment, XAF 1,000,000 (one million) as fines; Kano Brealy, Etsieli Joseph, Babase Bosco were sentenced to pay XAF 2,000,000 (two million) as damages jointly. The imprisonment in default of payment was fixed to its maximum.
