Abstract
In January 2015, Mongwa Kpeku alias Ibrahim was asked by his brother-in-law Mbamba, who lives in Thanry village, to take a PMK type war weapon for big game hunting. He complied with his brother-in-law's request and went to hide the weapon in the forest along with other materials. Mbamba killed an elephant and, after removing the tusks, gave Mongwa Kpeku Ibrahim the sum of XAF 150,000. Monga Kpeku returned the gun and ammunition to the place where they had previously been hidden. The Ecoguards later received this information and arrested Mongwa Kpeku Ibrahim, who took them to the place where the gun and ammunition were hidden.
