Abstract

From late February to April 12, 2018, the defendant Qingtao Z. unauthorizedly hunted 7 golden pheasants by laying traps in the Xiaosigou mountain forest behind his houser, and one of them died after hunting. He raised 6 live golden pheasants in the shed built behind the house, and used the online platform to sell for profit. He was seized by the public security organ on April 12, 2018. Qingtao Z. confessed to have illegally hunted and killed endangered wildlife.
