On the 18 December 2013, elements of the conservation service of the Campo’o Ma’an National Park organized an anti-poaching patrol mission in the said park and arrested the accused in possession of 02 smoked Blue duikers, 01 fresh Putty nosed monkey, 01 fresh brush tailed porcupine, 01 Mongoose, 01 hunting gun, 34 ammunitions and a torch. He admitted criminal responsibility and confessed committing the offences as charged. The wildlife products seized were sold by public auction and the proceeds kept in the National treasury. Following interrogation and after establishing his offence report, he was forwarded together with the seized items as exhibits before the State Attorney of the Court of First Instance Kribi for prosecution.
