Abstract

The accused ANGOUMOU nee ABOMO Genevieve was summoned to appear before the Court of First Instance Djoum to respond to charges of illegal killing of protected animal species. That on the 29 November 1989 in Mintom, she was arrested for poaching protected animal species without a hunting permit in a zone prohibited from hunting. During proceedings, she failed to appear before the court despite of being summoned regularly. At the end of the proceedings, the matter was adjourned for judgement.
