Abstract
On the 16 April 2013, ATTA Edwige was arrested in a protected area situated in the locality of Libongo by elements of the conservation service, in illegal possession of chimpanzee meat, giant pangolin meat, Deer meat and hunting material. Upon her arrest, she gave no legal explanation for her presence in this protected zone prohibited from hunting and could not justify the possession of these protected animal species and the hunting materials she was caught with. During interrogations, she acknowledged committing the offence as charged and pleaded guilty. At the close of interrogations, she was transmitted before the State Attorney for prosecution.
