Following a preliminary investigation by the State Attorney of the Court of First Instance, Djoum the accused BODO Ramy Gallus was summoned to respond to charges of illegal killing of protected animal species. That on August 07 1992 in Djoum, he was arrested by the chief of the forestry and wildlife control post of Djoum in possession of thirteen (13) legs of bay duiker, two (02) blue duikers and one (01) smoked mandrill without a certificate of origin. During interrogations, the accused pleaded guilty and recognized committing the offences as reproached. At the end of interrogations he was transmitted together with the seized items before the State Attorney for prosecution.
