Abstract
Following preliminary investigations by the State Attorney of the Court of First Instance, Djoum the accused EBATTE NSONO Polycarpe was summoned to respond to charges of illegal killing of a protected animal species. That in December 04 1992 in Mintom II, he was arrested by forces of law and order during a routine control in possession of one hundred and two (102) legs of smoked bushmeat without a certificate of origin. During interrogation the accused pleaded guilty and admitted committing the offences as reproached. At the close of interrogations, he was transmitted before the state Attorney for prosecution.
