On the 31st August 2009, MANGA Clotaire was arrested in “Adjap” a village situated on the Djoum-Mintom road by the South Antenna of the Dja conservation service agents. He was was arrested in possession of five (5) Grey-cheeked Mangabey, two (2) smoked parts of Bay Duiker. They were placed on his bike. While trying to arrest him, he resisted arrest and even forcefully seized his motorbike from MINFOF Officials who had seized the wildlife products and the motorbike. It was thanks to the State Attorney that the MINFOF officials succeeded to carry out the preliminary enquiry. Following the drafting of offences statement, together with the seized bike, He was transmitted to the State Attorney for prosecution. While the others items were sold by public auction.
