The accused MANGA Francois was summoned to appear before the Court of First Intance Djoum to respond to charges of killing protected animal species. That on the 01 December 1988 in Lele, the accused was arrested for poaching without a hunting permit in a zone prohibited from hunting. During the court proceedings, the accused failed to appear before the court for hearing despite of being summoned severally. At the end of the proceedings, the matter was adjourned for judgment.
