Abstract
On the 9 August 2012, elements of the conservation service of the Djoum-Mintom forest block carried out an anti-poaching patrol. This patrol was headed by the South regional delegate. Following this patrol, the accused was arrested flagrante delicto in illegal possession of elephant ivories, elephant meat and two hunting guns of mark Caliber 12 and 458. During interrogations, he pleaded guilty as charged and admitted to the committing the offences as reproached. At the close of interrogations, he was transmitted before the State Attorney, together with the seized items as exhibits for prosecution.
