Abstract
Elements of the Upper Nyong Divisional Delegation of Forestry and Wildlife under the supervision of the Chief of Wildlife, organized an anti-poaching patrol mission in the town of Doume. During this operation, the accused NJOYA NSANGOU was arrested with 27kg of pangolin scales. During interrogations, he admitted that a certain Francis approached him requesting pangolin scales and urged him to collect them from certain restaurant owners. When he had collected 27kg, the Francis urged him to bring them to the town of Doume to give a certain Ali. At the point of the transaction, the elements of the divisional delegation arrested him. He acknowledged and recognized committing the offences as charged.
