Abstract

On the 23 September 2009, elements of the conservation service of Dja arrested the accused flagrante delicto in illegal possession of 04 Colubus Guereza, 01 Bay duiker, 01 tortoise, 04 grey-cheeked Mangabey, 01 Moustached guenon, 01 Brushtailed pangolin, 02 Blue Duiker and blue duiker meat. During interrogations, he acknowledged committing the offences as reproached and further stated that some of the products were destined for local consumption and some to be commercialized. At the close of interrogations, he was transmitted before the State Attorney, together with the seized items as exhibits for prosecution.
