In 2016, elements of the Military forces and the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife of the Boumba and Ngoko Division organized a joint anti-poaching patrol mission and seizure of war arms. During this operation, they arrested the accused LIME Emile in possession of a war arm of Mark MAS 36. Soukou Jean Yves arrested as well for default of a National Identity Card. During interrogations, the accused Lime confessed that he received the sum of 500.000 XAF from a certain Yamba to buy war arms. He went to Libongo and assigned a certain man named ”Docta Chinois” who went to Central Africa to buy these arms. In the meantime, he collected” Docta Chinois”02 war arms and assigned a group of poachers with which they killed 02 Elephants. They all pleaded guilty and acknowledged committing the offences as charged. At the close of interrogations, they were transmitted together with the seized items before the State Attorney for prosecution.
