Abstract
On the afternoon of May 21, 2018, Yue M. approached the Luotian Reservoir in Fumian District, Yulin City, and used a bamboo pole to pull out a nest of hawk birds from a pine tree and took it home. On the 22nd of the same month, Yue M. sold a baby bird to Tugui L. for RMB 600. On the 24th of the same month, Yue M. took the remaining 4 birds to the restaurant opposite the gate of the east campus of Yulin Normal College and prepared to sell it, he was arrested on the spot by the police of Yulin Forest Public Security Bureau. Yue M. confessed to have illegally hunted and sold endangered wildlife, and Tugui L. confessed to have illegally purchased endangered wildlife.
