Abstract

NGOUALONG KUETE Ebenezer Felicien was sentenced six (6) months suspended imprisonment terms within three (3) years, to pay 268,325XAF for fines & costs and 907.500 XAF as damages to the State of Cameroon represented by the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife. Dissatisfied with this decision, the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife filed an appeal for the penalty to be reviewed and the amount of civil damages awarded to be increased from the awarded 907.500 XAF to the requested 5.207.500 XAF.
