Abstract

The elements of the conservation service during an anti-poaching patrol arrested KAMBA Etienne in possession of a hunting gun belonging to WO LENBO ABO Eric Arthur. The latter having been arrested, said that the gun had been given to him by MPOMA Marcelin. During interrogations, they all acknowledged committing the offence as charged and pleaded guilty. At the close of interrogations, they were transmitted before the State Attorney for prosecution.

All the accused were sentenced to pay 38.740 XAF for costs and 300.000 XAF jointly as civil damages to the state of Cameroon through the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife.
